Amy Master Stylist
My name is Amy aka Amy S. In kindergarten we were asked what would you like to be when we grow up. My answer was a hairstylist 20 years ago. I went to Pivot Point International Academy, my dream as a child was turning into reality and now it's my hobby. I specialize in short textured hairstyles, medium layered lengths, men, children, perms, roller sets and blowdry styles. I also am certified in Keratin Complex Treatments, and Brazilian Blowouts. The continued education that I am offered allows me to continue with the latest techniques and trends. The opportunities are amazing and the education is what keeps me on my toes! Seeing the transformations of my clients and the joy on their faces is priceless! Making people feel good about themselves is my priority...why...because my name is on your hair! So perfection every time. Being a hairstylist is my passion. Hair is your crown...your accessory you wear everyday!

Next apprenticed with Pascal in the French Method, studied Hair Restructuring in Japan, worked for Oprah, Jenny Jones, and got a Fine Arts Degree with a focus on Photography. Later I trained at the Toni & Guy London Academy which afforded me the great fortune to become a Brand Ambassador for Label.m-USA, participating backstage at NYFW and work one on one with Efi Davis.
I’m fueled by a strong desire to make others look beautiful and feel happy. My skills are well rounded however my specialties are Hair Up, Extensions, Hair Restructuring & Mens’ Fade Haircuts.

As a master stylist at Pascal pour Elle, I channel my love for fashion & design through the craft of hairdressing. I attended beauty school in Paris for two years and started as an apprentice at Jean Marc Maniatis off the Champs-Elysees. Wanting to explore further and learn from the best, I later moved to Miami and then to New York City working with some of the most influential stylists of our time including Jacques Dessange and Frederic Fekkai.
I have been working at Pascal Pour Elle for 6 years. I love my job because my work makes people beautiful and happy. I specialize in precision short and medium haircuts and high fashion curly hair. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis. I like working in Pascal Pour Elle because we get an opportunity to train with famous stylists every 3-4 months. I also like the friendly atmosphere and the professionalism of our staff.
My name is Jean Michel Ifergan, I have been working at Pascal pour Elle for almost 5 years as a Senior Stylist and Educator. I was attracted to this field when I lived in France. I married an esthetician who convinced me to go to L'Oreal school in Paris and began as a Hair designer just like my two brothers did. My special training are to numerous through the years to talk about them all, but my forte is doing sharp, high-fashioned short hair styles. I really love what I do because it is so rewarding professionally, emotionally and economically. My hobbies are golfing, soccer and international games….and finally the best thing about working at Pascal pour Elle is a great friendly staff and the coolest boss ever!!
“When you look good, you feel good!” After nine-plus years in this industry, helping people feel good about themselves is still extremely rewarding. Not very often can someone turn their hobby into a career. Whether a client is in need of a haircut, blow dry, has a special or is in need of a change, I am here with an open mind and creative ideas. I also specialize in extension services and Keratin complex treatments. The continued education that Pascal offers allows me to use the latest trends and techniques to complete the vision that I have for each individual client. Working at Pascal pour Elle, I have gained another family. Being here feels natural and welcoming when my clients leave the salon after services with me, and I know they feel the same way.

I knew I wanted to be a stylist since elementary school. Following high school I pursued my dream of becoming a hairstylist by attending Niles Beauty School. After completing school I took my talents to Pascal pour Elle. That's where I knew I could fully use the skills I learned and was ready for the challenge. I love seeing my clients happy when they leave my chair, and I love building friendships with my clients. I specialize in extensions, Keratin Complex treatments and Brazilian blowouts. On my weekends I love spending time with my family.

I started my journey doing hair in 2004 when I began cosmetology school at Pivot Point International. During that time I also worked at a skin care studio as a consultant and makeup artist. After I graduated cosmetology school, I continued my journey with more schooling to expand my knowledge and learn more skills. I also had the amazing opportunity to go to Italy and take classes in Milan. I graduated in 2006 and obtained my second license for hair. I still wanted more training, more knowledge, so I set my sights on a salon that had a training program. After a lengthy interview process, In February of 2007 I began my career at the salon of my dreams, Pascal pour Elle, and have been here every since. I quickly worked my way through the assistant apprenticeship program and earned the title I strived for, Stylist, in November of that year. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2005, a licensed barber since 2006 and currently specialize in Keratin Complex Treatments to smooth and defrizz hair. My goal is to make my clients feel comfortable and beautiful. The best part of my day is finishing a clients hair, turning the chair towards the mirror, and seeing a big smile on their face...my goal accomplished. Great hair doesn't have to be complicated, find the beauty in simplicity.

In 2008, I began my cosmetology career attending Pivot Point International Academy. Shortly after graduating I started the apprenticeship program at Pascal pour Elle. Here, I received hands-on experience learning advanced cutting techniques eventually earning my chair on the salon floor. Our team provides classes hosted by the luxury brands we carry, keeping us fresh and up to date. Continuing my education outside of the salon, I have taken classes through Bumble & Bumble University and had the chance to travel to Miami, where the ‘LBP Front Row Hair Show’ was held. Listening to many hair legends such as the Vidal Sassoon family, Howard Mclaren and Garren (the man who doesn’t need a last name), is once in a lifetime inspiration. My main goal is to create a relaxed environment for my clientele, making them feel comfortable sharing ideas and collaborating on styles that fit their personality. From a lob to short razor cuts, hair smoothing treatments to voluminous extensions, I believe that everyone is unique and our hair is a way of expression. Be you and remember that a new haircut can lead to so much more.

I have been working for Pascal pour Elle for 21 years, but at Vidal Sassoon Academy was where my love for hair began. My favorite precision cut would have to be the graduated bob along with long layering, and short textured hairstyles. Building upon my skills, I attended Bumble and Bumble University, where I became fascinated with my edgy, razored cuts. I love being able to smooth unruly hair with the Keratin Complex treatment or create beautiful length and volume using Industrial Length extensions. The amount of continued education Pascal provides helps keep me up to date on the latest trends. Styling hair is my passion and speciality. A great, long-lasting blow out makes for the perfect day!
Master Stylist / Salon Educator
I am a master stylist specializing in short haircuts. I have been in the industry for 27 years at Pascal Pour Elle. I have loved hair since I was a kid and attended beauty school while in high school. I have been to advance training at Bumble & Bumble in New York many times, including advanced razor classes. In my spare time, I like to paint, make jewelry and take spin classes. Right now I really love working at a place where everyone is nice, and it is a wonderful feeling to work in a salon that everyone gets along. Currently besides my weekly clientele, I am our salons educator. I enjoy working with new talent and coaching them on how to become the best stylist they can be.
I have been passionate about doing hair since I was a little girl. Being a third generation hairdresser in my family, starting with my grandfather as a barber and my aunt as a hairdresser, it was very easy to fall in love with doing hair. As a stylist I believe in honesty, patience and hard work all functioning together to create a beautiful end result for my clients. I have been with the Pascal Pour Elle family for the past 10 years and I have built a faithful clientele during those years. My area of expertise includes precise short and long haircuts, formal styles, blowouts and men’s haircuts. I am also certified in Keratin Complex, Blowouts and Japanese Straightening. Two things that are most rewarding to me in the industry are making people look and feel good about themselves. The best compliment is someone else complimenting my work. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my new baby girl and reading with my 5 year old boy.
I have been with Pascal since the start of my career thirty years ago. My passion for doing hair and my love of being creative has kept my ambition in the industry strong. I have always had an interest in the hair business growing up surrounded by a family full of hairstylists. I am driven by the desire to make people feel good and confident about themselves, there are so many rewarding aspects to this profession. Throughout my career, I've done several makeover shows alongside Pascal, and I've also been recognized in Chicago magazine for my creative cutting techniques. As well as cutting and styling, I also specialize in Keratin treatments. Furthermore, I am very fortunate that I have built a very loyal clientele and continue to grow in the industry. There is always constant education at Pascals which keeps us all very motivated for always keeping up with the latest trends. It has always been my intention to focus on the needs and wants of my clients, while still putting my input and professional opinion. I believe the results of my work gives my clients not only the trust and willingness to explore new ideas, but also allowing them to feel as comfortable as possible.
Being in the business for 30+ years, I have grown with the changing trends in our industry. From hair dressing, to the classic bob, wispy bangs and choppy layers, I've done it all! It's my passion for hair and service that continues to keep me motivated and creative, therefore giving my clientele the best of my talents. I was honored to be published for my dedicated work in "Modern Salon", a leading industry magazine. Another highlight in my career is when I collaborated with other top stylists during photoshoots and fashion shows. Having traveled to New York City, attending classes at the international beauty show and Bumble and Bumble University, has added to my inspiration. Knowing my clients needs and wants, I am able to personalize and pair each haircut to their texture, making it fit with their lifestyle. I am truly grateful for the gifts of my hands, my love for fashion and the ability to service a dedicated clientele.

As a kid I used to draw and paint quite a bit, next to sports that was my favorite hobby. I then bought a pair of clippers and started drawing designs into friends hair (much to their parents dismay). So I learned some haircutting techniques from that. I dreamed of being a hairstylist as an adult but first wanted to get an education. After graduating college I went to grad school where I decided to give hairstyling a chance. 18 years later I am still with Pascal and still loving what I do. I would say I specialize in men's and kid cuts, but also love doing women's hair. Along with being certified in Keratin Complex and Brazilian Blowouts, I very much enjoy my profession and believe that learning should never end as I take in new information and experiences every day.

As early as the second grade, my parents couldn't figure out why I willingly woke up two hours before school, until they saw me sitting in front of the mirror creating fun and different hair styles. That's when my love for hair was born! Prior to my career at Pascal pour Elle, I was taught by the industries leading stylists at Paul Mitchell The School Chicago, using Vidal Sassoon cutting techniques. I love learning new skills to better my clients experience. So I have taken up training opportunities in La fama Oribe in Miami and NYC, Caper in Vegas, Label. M, Behind the chair tours and many more here in Chicago specializing in dry cutting. To better understand my clients and the vision they want me to create, my focus is on a great consultation. There is no greater reward than seeing my clients leaving my chair feeling beautiful and confident and at the same time, becoming a part of our Pascal family! I am so glad I can get up and go to work enjoying what I do and feeling like and I am going to my second home!
